Featured Speaker: Ms. Pai Hung
Regarded as the “Ever-changing Phantom Goddess”, Ms. Pai Hung was one of the most acclaimed Taiwanese actresses in the 60s. Hung started her career in Taiwanese films in 1956 and rose to stardom with the movie The Beggar and the Pretty Prostitute as the leading actress. She starred in not only Taiwanese films but also Cantonese and Thai films. Pai Hung is also known for The Fantasy of Deer Warrior (1961), and The Best Secret Agent (1964). As Taiwanese movies gradually lost market interests in the 70s, Hung broadened her career path to Mandarin films and TV productions.
